Global Care meeting at Knightlow School, 7pm Thursday May 18th
For the next 3 years, the Draycote Benefice are supporting ‘Shack Schools’, a Global Care project. Shack Schools provide an important basic education for the children of Syrian refugees who have fled their homes and, in this case, are living across the border in Lebanon. We are committed to raising a minimum of £1500 each year for the project. We are launching this link with a high-profile meeting, to which you are all warmly invited. We will show a brief video of the Shack School work and Fiona Castle [widow of Roy] will speak about her recent visits, with an opportunity after for questions and answers, refreshments all to finish around 8pm. We do hope you can come to this launch of this worthwhile initiative.
Meanwhile if you want further information please contact Dick Withington 01926632644 or ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’
We look forward to seeing you.
