Reminder about the Mobile Library Service
The Home Delivery Library Service is a FREE service to those who are unable to visit or use their local library or Mobile Library due to ill health, disability or infirmity.
Using volunteers and a van, it delivers books to people in their homes once every four weeks, based on their personal book choices .
It offers books in both Large and Small Print and also talking books on compact disc. Customers can borrow as many books as they like and may also request books free of charge.
Anyone who feels that they would be eligible and would benefit from receiving the service can contact HDLS on (01926) 851031 or by email on email@example.com
For the next 3 years, the Draycote Benefice are supporting ‘Shack Schools’, a Global Care project. Shack Schools provide an important basic education for the children of Syrian refugees who have fled their homes and, in this case, are living across the border in Lebanon. We are committed to raising a minimum of £1500 each year for the project.

Leamington Hastings Bowls Club is looking for new members.
We would like to invite you to come and have a bowl, for free, to see if you have a hidden talent.
We meet at the Leamington Hastings Parish Hall every Wednesday from 6pm, the bowls green is next door (did you know, we also have a tennis court for hire)?
The club plays inter club matches at home and away, outdoors, throughout the summer season (April-Sept). We think anyone can play. It’s a lovely way to spend a few hours, socialising and enjoying some gentle exercise, having fun while learning something new.
There’s always someone on hand to coach so you won’t feel on your own.
We also play matches to raise money for charity.
Everyone is welcome, irrespective of age or ability and children are always encouraged to come and play.
Just wear flat shoes and come along and have a go.
Don’t be shy-you never know until you try !
